The King Succession Tour - T.I. & Family had D.C. Lit! @Urban.Fashion.Sense Exclusive Recap

When T.I. said “You can whatever you likkkee...” I felt that.

Plot twist! Didn't even realize until the last minute, that I had secured tickets to T.I.P’s The King Succession Tour stop in Washington, D.C. last Saturday.

By the time I arrived at The Fillmore Silver Spring, the venue was packed door-to-door. I made it in right before The King hit the stage in streetwear classic construct’ Timberland Boots.

I went straight to the balcony for a better view. Turned out to be the best decision—I ended up standing close to where Tiny, T.I.'s wife, was sitting!

A concert I didn’t know I needed to experience. Seeing T.I.P perform live is always dope, but watching him share the stage with his children, and pass the torch to the next generation was special.

The King of the South: A Family Affair

Respect to T.I. and his sons for putting on a legendary concert, with slick comedic family moments. Domani and King did their big ones! (Btw, I’m still trying to find the track suit Domani had on. If you know the brand or designer please drop in the comments).

… And you already know... Polo Dro hit the stage…. like WHAATTT?!!

The crowd lost their minds! His verse on Yung LA’s "Ain’t I” had the whole spot rocking… BUT —"We In The City" is one of my all-time favorite Young Dro tracks!

If these look familiar, it's because I previously mentioned them in my The Return of the Renaissance: How Early 2000s NYC Streetwear is Reclaiming the Throne post.

The fit was amazing. The denim gave straight up retro-urban fashion sense.

But I haven’t stopped obsessing over the matching Von Dutch Oversized Khaki Bomber Jacket.

Might just have to go ahead and cop it, to complete the vibe.
