The King Succession Tour - T.I. & Family had D.C. Lit! @Urban.Fashion.Sense Exclusive Recap
My chick could have what she want... go in any store for any bag she want….
When T.I. said “You can whatever you likkkee...” I felt that.
Plot twist! Didn't even realize until the last minute, that I had secured tickets to T.I.P’s The King Succession Tour stop in Washington, D.C. last Saturday.
By the time I arrived at The Fillmore Silver Spring, the venue was packed door-to-door. I made it in right before The King hit the stage in streetwear classic construct’ Timberland Boots.
I went straight to the balcony for a better view. Turned out to be the best decision—I ended up standing close to where Tiny, T.I.'s wife, was sitting!
A concert I didn’t know I needed to experience. Seeing T.I.P perform live is always dope, but watching him share the stage with his children, and pass the torch to the next generation was special.
Even though I can't find the name of Domani's track suit, here’s some suggestions of similar looks to check out:
Butter Goods x Umbro: Butter Goods x Umbro Tracksuit Jacket 3 Black
Vicinity: Vicinity Tracksuits Collection
Ara Oga: Ara Tracksuit
So yes! I had a prime view of the stage from up top. The energy in the building was electric!
… And you already know... Polo Dro hit the stage…. like WHAATTT?!!
The crowd lost their minds! His verse on Yung LA’s "Ain’t I” had the whole spot rocking… BUT —"We In The City" is one of my all-time favorite Young Dro tracks!
Highlights from the Clip:
Peep the recap video, and a few tracks that had us breaking a sweat:
King Harris brought the energy with “Start My Day Off At The Mall”.
Domani delivered a soulful flow on "Forever Lasting ft DC Young Fly and Seddy Hendrinx".
T.I. performed his legendary, iconic smash hit "Live Your Life ft. Rihanna".
Big Things Poppin’! Shoutout the Harris family, tour crew, and Live Nation for looking out and making it an unforgettable night!
Fit Check: Y2K Nostalgic Reconstructed Von Dutch Jeans
You know I couldn't pull up to see hip-hop royalty without making a statement.
Get into my Von Dutch Two-Tone Reconstructed Wide Leg Jeans and Melissa Mia Platform Clogs!
Me rocking these fly retro Von Dutch jeans - shop the link below.
If these look familiar, it's because I previously mentioned them in my The Return of the Renaissance: How Early 2000s NYC Streetwear is Reclaiming the Throne post.
The fit was amazing. The denim gave straight up retro-urban fashion sense.
But I haven’t stopped obsessing over the matching Von Dutch Oversized Khaki Bomber Jacket.
Might just have to go ahead and cop it, to complete the vibe.
